Team Live-ade

In 2009 we were asked if we were interested in working for ‘The Beautiful Octopus Club’ at Croydon Clock Tower. We didn't know what to call ourselves so we set up a competition for someone to come up with a name for us. The prize would be free entry into our first event. The winner could choose to stay anonymous if they wanted. We got over 100 suggestions! And we finally chose "Club Soda". Unfortunately the person who suggested Club Soda chose to remain anonymous so they never received their prize.

It was Olly's suggestion to put a production team group together who could work behind the scenes on Club Soda events. It was a great and unique opportunity for the group to be creative and come up with ideas for the club nights. Our first event was a summer event which took place at Croydon Clock Tower.

We have done events at summer, Christmas and Valentine’s Day. The biggest event we have done is Croydon Mellor in 2010 – this was Croydon’s own music festival and had acts from all over the world performing. 30,000 people attended! A production company made a film of our involvement in the project and it was screened on TV.

In the summer of 2013 we decided to name ourselves ‘Team Live-ade’
